  "guide": "## Overview\n\n[MOSS-VoiceGenerator](https://huggingface.co/OpenMOSS-Team/MOSS-VoiceGenerator)\nis the **voice-design** member of OpenMOSS's MOSS-TTS Family, served through\n**vLLM-Omni** with the OpenAI-compatible `/v1/audio/speech` API. It generates\ndiverse voices and styles **directly from a text prompt, with no reference\nspeech**, unifying voice design, style control, and synthesis. It can run\nstandalone or as a design layer that produces a voice for the downstream TTS\nmembers of the family. Output is **24 kHz mono**.\n\n## Prerequisites\n\n- **Hardware**: a single CUDA GPU. ~6 GB for the 1.7B talker + ~8 GB for the\n  codec decoder (comparable to MOSS-TTS-Realtime).\n- **vLLM-Omni** targeting vLLM >= 0.22.\n\n## Installation\n\n```bash\nuv venv && source .venv/bin/activate\nuv pip install git+https://github.com/vllm-project/vllm-omni.git\n```\n\n## Launch the server\n\nMOSS-VoiceGenerator shares `model_type=moss_tts_delay`, so pass its deploy\nconfig explicitly:\n\n```bash\nvllm serve OpenMOSS-Team/MOSS-VoiceGenerator --omni \\\n  --deploy-config vllm_omni/deploy/moss_voice_generator.yaml --port 8000\n```\n\n## Client usage\n\n```bash\ncurl -X POST http://localhost:8000/v1/audio/speech \\\n  -H \"Content-Type: application/json\" \\\n  -d '{\n    \"model\": \"OpenMOSS-Team/MOSS-VoiceGenerator\",\n    \"input\": \"Hello, this voice was designed entirely from a text prompt.\",\n    \"instructions\": \"A warm, friendly young female voice with a calm pace.\",\n    \"response_format\": \"wav\"\n  }' --output designed.wav\n```\n\n## Known limitations\n\n- Output is **24 kHz mono**.\n- No reference speech is used — voice identity comes from the text prompt /\n  `instructions`. The exact prompt schema follows the upstream model card.\n\n## References\n\n- [Model card](https://huggingface.co/OpenMOSS-Team/MOSS-VoiceGenerator)\n- [MOSS-TTS Family](https://huggingface.co/OpenMOSS-Team/MOSS-TTS) · [GitHub](https://github.com/OpenMOSS/MOSS-TTS)\n",
